The Boy with the Wrong Choices.


                Finally, we reached Hogwarts. My 6th year had just begun. Last year was crazy with Voldemort coming back and the battle at the ministry. There's some kind of depression in the air. It's evident that something WILL HAPPEN. Dark forces try to penetrate the walls of Hogwarts, Dumbledore warns us and urges us to be brave in these dark times. Yep, there should be NO DISTRACTION of any kind in my life, just studying to stay alive a few minutes, okay lets make that hours, with friends. NOTHING ELSE! I make a mental note to myself but in the back of my head a little voice screams ''DRACO MALFOOOOOYYYY!!!". NO NO NO NO! I tell myself. Draco Malfoy that mean, pureblood, stuck-up, nose-high, full of himself Slytherin liked ME! YUCK! I have feelings for him too just trying to decide if they are positive or negative.


                 "_____! ______! Wake up! A fresh bouquet of (your flowers) from Mr. Malfoy" Hermione yells waking me up.''THROW THEM'' I groan.
                   "Naw read the note!" she says shoving a piece of paper in my hand; he wrote:
                                            I can't think of anything cheesy right now.Just three words.I LOVE YOU.


                  "Lame" I muttered to myself. Everyday since year 4 I've been receiving bouquets and notes from Draco.But he never talks to me in public. Weird. Harry being a good friend asked Draco to just knock it off and stop but he never does. They've got some rivalry there, Harry and Draco, so I wonder what a Slytherin pureblood wants with me, a Gryffindor half-blood.
                    I got out off bed, freshened up and went down for breakfast. I took my seat next to Harry , Ginny and Seamus.
                 "Good Morning guys" I say.
                  "Morning" Harry replies
                  "Had a good sleep?" Ginny asks.
                 "G'morning" Seamus says.
                  "Yep Ginny" I reply.
                 "So what flowers did you get today?" Ginny teased.
I glared dangerously.
                 "Woah I'm only joking!" she quickly says.
                  My glare drops "Its okay Ginny, just don't make it the first thing you say to me in the morning!"
                 " It was the second thing I said!" Ginny says and everyone burst out laughing.
                 " I can't believe that chicken brain likes you!" Ron cuts in from nowhere and sits next to Harry.
                 "But he writes such sweet things but I have to agree he's a down right foul git!"Hermione comes in and sits next to me.
                "Where the hell are you all coming from?!" I yell.And everyone laughs.
                 "Spare me you guys! The year just started!" I plead. Everyone just laughs it off and we chat about random things and get to classes.
                  Days go pretty fast and December rolls in. The incident with Katie Bell being hexed has rumours spreading that it was Draco since he was acting so weird these days. It couldn't be could it? He's not a Death Eater, he won't know such a kind of Dark Magic--"Yes ____ there's every possibility that he would! Now concentrate on your Charms test!" I tell myself.
                  I was coming out of Charms when I see Draco exiting a wall.The Room of Requirement.What was he doing there? I crossed his path and spotted him following me and in a matter of seconds his arms were around me. "Let go Draco"I sigh."Not happening" he says with that dazzling smile which no one had seen for a whole year.He turns me around "Look ___! I LOVE YOU okay? SO MUCH its inexpressable. I'm willing to become a traitor for you, please I'll risk my life. Let Voldemort kill me, I don't care anymore. I just want to hold you in my arms and call you mine. I've been idiotic and I was too shy to talk but I think its time I did" he exclaims."Draco, I'm sorry, my parents need to approve of me having a boyfriend. If You-Know-Who finds out we're both dead.I need some time. Please!" I broke away from his grip and walked away. I felt bad leaving him like that but according to my friends ''staying away from a pureblood Slytherin is the best for me."
                  I snuggle up in bed that night and it was FREEZING. Suddenly there was something warm in my bed. It was really warm but hard and then I hear a heart beating, I look up. Draco Malfoy."HOW THE ACTUAL HELL DID YOU GET IN !!! GET OUT OFF MY BED WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN'S BEARD ARE YOU-" he cut me off with a kiss. "Shhh their gonna wake up" he grins. 
                  "Something wrong ____?" Hermione asks half asleep.
                   "Nothing go back to sleep,bad dream that's all" I quickly put her back to bed.
                   " Okay" she yawns and goes back to sleep.
"WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?" I scream whisper. But then it hits me, how i felt so protected and warm on cold nights. It was Draco all along. "I waited a long time to do that to you" with that he started getting up and leaving."Hey Draco! Wait! Don't go", a warm fuzzy feeling comes over me."I-I think I love you." I say. He comes back quickly, locks me in his warm embrace and we were asleep.
                   We wake up and see a room full of giggling girls and McGonagall glaring at us and Draco made a run for it. The whole day was great,laughing and having fun. I never knew that the person I thought was a total scumbag could be so nice. I find out he's mean only because his family looks down upon non-purebloods and if he was nice to just about everybody he would fail his family. That's also the reason why he was afraid to talk to me but now he didn't care about his parents or Voldemort. We were ,just for a little while, happy. That day at dinner I sit next to Ron and he goes "WHAT IS WRONG? YOUR ACTUALLY DATING THAT FILTHY PUREBLOOD AREN'T YOU?", apparently word had spread about me and Draco like wildfire. 
                              ''Oh give it a break,Ron! She's happy, isn't that what matters? But I must say I can't believe you actually like that ........egg white headed freak.!" Ginny exclaims.
                                ''Lay off her you guys." Harry says annoyed and glaring at me.So we all eat our dinner in silence. Something was going on.
                                  That night I waited for Draco but he never came. And when that warm feeling hit me I knew he was there. I caressed his face and I felt a tear rolling down his face. I roused myself, gave him a hug and asked what was wrong. He hesitated and then said "I can't hid it from you" and with that he pulled the sleeve off his left arm and revealed a swollen and bloody Dark Mark. I yelp and jump off the bed but before I could do anything he grabs my hands and says "____! Please listen to me. Volde-You -Know-Who...he found out about us. In the beginning of this year he.....forced me to become a Death Eater. He threatened to kill me and my family _____! I'M NOT THE PERSON WHO MADE THE WRONG CHOICES _____! I'M THE PERSON WHO HAD NO CHOICES.But now I'm ready to die, I held the girl of my dreams, kissed her lips and heard her say that she loves me. I'm ready to let go now. Thank you ____." he says in a sad voice." It bleeds everyday, heavily, so heavy I might die of blood loss.He's doing, the Dark Lord, I know it" . Without a word I bathed and bandaged his wound with an old rag. He hugs me and whispers a thank you. I drag him to Dumbledore's office despite his useless protests. We saw Harry there having an intense conversation with Dumbledore. I forced Draco to say everything to our headmaster who advised him to stay away from me until he says so. Draco looked guilty all of a sudden and says he was smuggling in Death Eaters through a Vanishing Cabinet in the Room of Requirement who were to help him kill Dumbledore. Everybody in the room is speechless but Draco adds that the the murder of Dumbledore depends on his life. Harry looked like he was about to kill Draco then and there but Dumbledore looking very upset, dismisses us. We kiss one more time and part ways.
                                           Dumbledore dies. Draco was being forced and coaxed by Bellatrix but Snape did it. They year is dismissed early. There was going to be a war.
                                              
                                                 AT THE WAR
                                           "Stupefy!''I take on 2 Death Eaters. "Sectumsempra!" one yell. I fall down, blood flowing madly from my arm. "GET AWAY FROM HER! AVEDA KEDAVRA" I hear a voice say, a voice that I'd missed so much."_______!" Draco yells and comes to my aid,"Hi, Draco" I barely choke out. He hurriedly recites a few spells and the blood stops flowing and I'm able to get up. We share a moment and we're so happy that nothing comes out of our mouths. We fight hand in hand, stronger than ever. "_____ I love......" he starts "Draco thats the 300th time your saying it to me" I laugh, felt like I laughed for the first time in years. " Well I love you too, every cell in you okay?" I explain. " I nearly lost my mind without you all these days" he says. "It is because we parted that we're together right now."  I say. We enter the courtyard where Harry is facing off Voldemort. Voldemort sees Draco and I linked in arms and an ugly smirk spreads across his face. " What an idiot you are Malfoy,disgracing your family!Bah! Hanging in there with that filth are we?" he says looking at me."I might just kill her right now" he laughs evilly."Don't you dare-" but before Draco could finish, Voldemort yelled "Crucio!" A spark of lights.It felt as if every bone in my body was breaking. I fell to the ground it felt like someone was burning me alive and stabbing me with daggers and my lungs were clogged. I tried to scream in agony but nothing came out of my mouth. "NO YOUR HURTING HER! STOP IT! PLEASE! KILL ME INSTEAD!" Draco pleads. "You insolent beast! I don't care about her blood! I don't want to waste yours eventhough I have an urge to." Voldemort says. "CRUCIO!" he laughs. " SHE MEANS THE WORLD TO ME! STOP! ALRIGHT! WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO!?" Draco asks nearly in tears."Fight for me you idiot!" Voldemort orders. Before Draco could do anything Harry asks Voldemort why he takes his anger out on love and duels Voldemort himself. Ginny and Draco rush me to Madam Pomfrey and then I'm knocked out
                                               I woke up in the Great Hall. Innocent, dead people and the wounded all around me. Families crying over their lost loved ones, I see Fred lying there motionless. I run to the Weasley family surrounding their son.
                                         "He isn't...." but before I could say anything I look at the red-headed family's face and I know that Fred is no longer with us.Lavender Brown, Collin Creevey  and many people I never got the chance to talk to properly are now dead. Before I could do anything someone comes at me and squeezes the last breath out of me. "I AM SO SORRY!" Draco exclaims. "I'm okay, calm down!" I barely smile and say. He hugs me again, this time not squeezing. " We're finally safe _____!" he says happily but in the environment we were in his smile lasted a few seconds. Suddenly he looks all shy. "Something wrong?" I ask." Um......willyoupleasebethereasonIbreathandwakeupinthemorningmakymylifebymarryingme?" Draco says this jibberish thing. "Uh What? Are you feeling alright? Maybe you need some rest, Draco, we've been through a lot today, let me get Madam Pomfrey." I say clearly creeped out by his weird behaviour. He grabs my arms , "_____, be the reason I breathe, I wake up in the morning just make my life? Marry me?" with that he took out (Your favourite stone) ring. " Draco." I say astounded,"GUESS WHAT I WILL! YES I WILL MARRY YOU! YES YES YES A MILLION TIMES!" I scream. He slips the ring on my finger and we kiss. " Well that's one good news," says Harry behind us. "We all have to move on Harry, I know how hard it is," I say "True, will there be cake at the wedding?" Harry replies trying to be cheerful."Yes Harry there will," Draco says. Everybody lets out a little smile or a bit of a laugh. Happiness was reaching out to everyone slowly in that room one by one.
